The Virginia Baseball Coaches Association (VBCA) today announces that Zephyr Headwear, also known as “Z Hats,” will become the organization’s official hat sponsor.
Zephyr Hats, founded in 1993, makes hats for more than 800 colleges in addition to pro sports teams, clothing brands and companies worldwide. As part of the partnership, Zephyr will contribute a portion of hat purchases made by VBCA members to the VBCA, which formed earlier this year to unite, educate and support baseball coaches of all levels in Virginia.
“We’re excited that Zephyr shares our desire to connect with and educate baseball coaches throughout Virginia,” said Tim Merry, founder and executive director of the VBCA and head coach at Trinity Episcopal School in Richmond. “Our members not only will be able to outfit their teams with great-looking hats, but they’ll also be giving back to the VBCA and helping us further our mission.”
Roy Dominguez, of Zephyr Headwear, added: “The VBCA is a first-class organization that is looking to help grow and further the baseball community within the Commonwealth. Zephyr Hats wants to contribute to that cause by providing quality custom hats at affordable prices with unmatched customer service. We are proud to be partnered with the VBCA and its members, and we look forward to a successful and long-term relationship.”
